Mr. Rodney

Hello! My name is Max Rodney and I teach both 6th and 8th grade Math. I am excited for a year of learning and growing with you and your child!

I am a proud San Diego native. I earned my Bachelor’s degree remotely at Southern New Hampshire University and later returned to San Diego State University to complete my teaching credential. I have worked at two other Middle Schools in the city, but this is my first year at O’Farrell. Prior to becoming a Math Teacher I got to interact with people and problem solving in a different capacity by working at an Escape Room. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with family (including my two cats Oak and Tundra), running, watching and playing soccer (go Wave!) and doing puzzles.
