About Me
Hi! My name is Jonathon Vose, and I teach English Language Development (ELD) at The O'Farrell Middle School. In 2015, I moved from San Diego to New York City to pursue a career in teaching. I joined the New York City Teaching Fellows, and began my teaching career in 2016, teaching English Language Arts and English Language Development at an international high school in the Bronx. In 2018, I received a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from the City College of New York Graduate School of Education. After 3 years in New York City, I returned to San Diego. I am incredibly excited to be back, and especially excited to be starting my 5th year here at The O'Farrell Middle School!
Outside of teaching and education, my passions are hiking, camping, cooking, sports, and spending quality time with my family, friends, and dogs.
